Immersive Art Studio

Onyo

Immersive screen-free stories
to create a more living world

Making the world more vibrant

Onyo creates installations in which spatialized sound, light, and scenography take the place usually occupied by the image. Each work weaves a narrative around a living ecosystem—a river, a forest, a mountain, a night—and invites the audience to take part in it.

In contrast to an immersive experience that is increasingly voracious in its demand for pixels and energy, we are developing a low-tech approach: doing more with less to make other ways of interacting with living things imaginable.

Our works are ecological and sensory fables.

Since 2021, our installations have been featured at around 50 venues, including Nuit Blanche, CENTQUATRE, Pixii Festival, Safra’Numériques, and Microfolies, both in France and abroad.
